At the heart of our Arabic School is strong, experienced, and values-driven leadership. Our Headteacher’s journey reflects a lifelong dedication to Islamic knowledge, education, and service to the community. Her experience, scholarship, and commitment continue to shape the vision and ethos of the school, guiding students towards academic excellence and a deep connection with their faith.
Our Headteacher brings with her a deep commitment to Islamic education, shaped by years of study, teaching, and service to the community.
She studied Sharia law in Egypt for many years, gaining a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge and scholarship. She also holds a Degree in Arabic and a Masters in Psychology, both from Cairo University, one of the most prestigious universities in the Arab world. This period of study played a vital role in shaping her understanding of the deen and her approach to teaching, learning, and leadership.
She began her teaching career in Libya, where she spent several years working with students and developing her passion for education. After relocating to London, she continued her teaching journey at some of the most well-known Islamic institutions in the country, including Finsbury Park Masjid, East London, and Regent’s Park Masjid in Central London. Through these roles, she has taught students from diverse backgrounds and at varying levels, further strengthening her experience and insight as an educator.
Her motivation has always been centred on nurturing young people — not only to become academically successful, but to develop a love for Islam, strong character, and confidence in their identity. She believes that education should inspire students, guide them spiritually, and equip them with the knowledge and values needed to succeed in both this life and the next.
Academically, she is a qualified examinations officer for GCSE and A-Level Arabic in London and Surrey, with a proven record of excellence. Under her guidance, students have consistently achieved outstanding results, including a 100% A–A* success rate at A-Level Arabic. This reflects her high standards, structured teaching approach, and dedication to student achievement.
She is also well-acquainted with respected scholars and senior shuyukh from around the world. Through these connections, she actively encourages students to deepen their relationship with the Qur’an and, where possible, supports opportunities for students to pursue ijazah and advanced Qur’anic study.
Her standing within the community is a testament to her years of hard work, sincerity, and devotion to Islamic education. The Arabic School stands as part of her ongoing legacy — a means of nurturing future generations and striving for success in the hereafter through knowledge, service, and faith.
